Lord Shiva is depicted seated in padmasana (lotus position) atop an ornately carved lotus petal base — the lotus representing purity, transcendence, and the divine ground from which all creation arises. His posture is one of absolute stillness and supreme sovereignty, radiating both the fierce power of the destroyer and the boundless compassion of the greatest of all devotees’ lords.
The murti features four arms, each holding a sacred attribute:
